Rage of Mages combines role-playing elements with real-time strategy to produce what is sometimes referred to as a genre in and of itself. You control the actions of a hero from an overhead view, and can hire or find additional troops in the game’s towns. Heroes can carry customizable items and equipment, and can also advance in level and strength as well as learning new spells. Rage of Mages also features online play against or alongside other players around the globe.
