Line Rider Freestyle 2009

For those of you who have had the pleasure of playing Line Rider, you know that it can be quite addicting. I know personally I’ve spent hours on end making the perfect double back flip. Which is why I’m pleased to bring you the great news that Deep Silver has announced Line Rider Freestyle.
Deep Silver, the games label of Koch Media, a leading producer and distributor of digital entertainment products, and the developer inXile Entertainment are going to publish a brand-new version of the popular internet game for the Wii, Nintendo DS, and PC in 2009.
All three versions will contain plenty of additional tools and new game modes. In Line Rider Freestyle, players get to draw a random landscape on screen with a virtual pencil. Ramps, hills, chasms and jumps may be littered throughout the course however players see fit. Once a course is complete, or in the middle of creation, players can release their sledder and watch the stunts they have created come to life as the little dude will race down slopes at breakneck speeds until he careens off the track.
A story mode has also been added, in which players will have to solve 40 puzzles throughout eight chapters, hitting certain targets throughout the course of the story. While on the other hand, Freestyle mode will allow players to create a track from scratch.
Line Rider Freestyle should be an awesome addition to the Line Rider family. Those of you who have yet to experience the addictiveness of Line Rider will have plenty to look forward to and those of you who have been through older versions are already excited about this one I’m sure.
